鴻準將吃iPhone5九成訂單
針對傳聞蘋果iPhone5將採用液態金屬（Liquid-Metal），導致鴻準（2354）、可成（2474）機殼雙雄股價大跌，巴克萊證券科技產業分析師張博凱強調，液態金屬早被採用在3C產品上，非新的技術而是新的應用，預估鴻準仍將強拿90%的iPhone5的機殼量。
外資分析師表示，宏碁兩年前推出的500萬畫素的「金厲害機」（Acer Liquid Metal），產品英文名字就大方打出「Liquid-Metal」，所以液態金屬是屬於舊技術，具有質量更輕但更堅固的特質，但成本是鋁合金的1.2倍至1.5倍。
更重要的是，蘋果數年前已買斷相關專利，且液態金屬這項傳聞更加印證巴克萊先前預言「iPhone5採用金屬機殼」；正因為金屬面積變大，所以鴻準的單位售價更高、毛利更好。
包括巴克萊、摩根大通、德意志等三家外資券商，均直接駁斥液態金屬損及機殼雙雄訂單的說法，但以巴克萊的張博凱在時效上搶得頭香。張博凱在外資圈好手林立的亞太硬體分析師當中，再次獲得重要議題的發言的主導權。
Acer Liquid Metal Preview
Acer is not new to the field of mobile phone manufacturing. The company has already introduced a couple of handsets namely, the Acer Liquid and the Acer Liquid E respectively in the Liquid series. After these two devices, the company is going to release the third handset named Liquid Metal. There were many rumors about this handset and they got confirmed when the specifications and the images were spotted in the Internet recently. This handset will occupy the gap between the Stream and the Liquid E of the Acer’s smartphones line up. The release date as well as the price of the Metal is still not announced by the company.
The Liquid Metal runs on the Android version2.2 Froyo operating system and makes use of an 800 MHz Qualcomm MSM 7230 processor. It has a HTML browser and a Stereo FM radio with the RDS support. The phonebook can store unlimited number of contacts as well as fields. The internal 512 MB of memory is used to store these data. The messaging menu supports the threaded view of SMS, MMs, email and push email features. The handset supports the class 10 GPRS with a speed of 32 to 48 kbps, class 10 EDGE with a speed of 236.8 kbps and 3G with HSDPA and HSUPA networks respectively. It also has the Bluetooth version 3.0 with the A2DP technology as well as the Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g connectivity.
