Hi, I have a blackberry already with internet and unlimited texting. My contract ends in about 1 week and I am planning to get the HTC Droid, if i do so would my bill stay the same as it is with the blackberry with the htc droid. I know about the 30$
I agree your bill should stay the same, but I disagree that you need the Mot. Droid. I think it depends on the person and what you want. I have the HTC Droid and I am more than happy with it. I would suggest you research the specs. for each and see

HTC Vivid Review
01.01.70
Verizon’s LTE network has been around for over a year, and has been very successful for the number one cell provider in the country. Now AT&T is joining the mix, and the first new phones supporting LTE are just coming out. The first is the HTC Vivid, and it has the best build quality of any smartphone from the Taiwan-based hardware maker to date.
The Vivid looks like the Evo 4G from a distance, but in the hand feels very different from other HTC devices. It’s sleeker and smoother. The edges are glossy, round in the front and angular on the back, which makes it very easy to grip. The slide-off rear metallic cover doesn’t slide in the hand and it’s a solid battery cover, something not typically found on Android smartphones.
Of course, the real charmer is access to AT&T’s 4G LTE network, but that may be a gift best saved for next Christmas. There are currently just 15 cities with LTE active, and slowly but surely AT&T is opening up more high-speed LTE towers around the country. I tested the Vivid in Los Angeles; AT&T’s LTE isn’t available anywhere on the west coast yet. Even then, I am impressed with what AT&T calls 4G, which is HSDPA/HSPA+; it’s just as fast as Sprint’s 4G network, and is far more ubiquitous than any other provider. It’s the one service I can play streaming games through OnLive while on the road.
