HTC One X/S/V Enjoy Extra Camera Love Thanks To Android/Sense 4.0 [VIDEO]

HTC moment. Now you can simply hold down the shutter button for rapid-fire picture taking. By default it’s set to take 20 pictures in a row but you can raise this amount all the way to 99 if you prefer. HTC also included a very intuitive interface for deleting numerous photos at once so that you’re not overloaded in the aftermath. Capturing that candid smile just got easier and the irritation of picture blinks just got lighter.
A few other nice features include greatly improved auto-focus time (.2 seconds), a straight to camera unlock feature, and an improved lighting sensor for use with the camera’s flash. Most camera phone’s have 1 light setting on the flash, meaning your pictures often end up washed out and ridiculous looking. The HTC One devices, and other Sense 4.0+ phones, have a feature that detects how much light will be needed to illuminate the object being focused upon and attempt to provide the right amount of lighting for that instance. We didn’t get to test this feature, but it sounds incredibly helpful in theory.
Pocket-lint loves a bit of device leakage - we can't get enough of it. Whether it's iPhones left in bars , or surreptitiously left in the effeminate hands of a Vietnamese gadget blogger , if there's sufficient proof and/or convincing pics, we'll be all over leaked tech like wasps on jam.
However, the HTC Vision pic that's emerged over the last 24 hours is about as convincing as Dick van Dyke's cockney accent. And these are 5 reason's why:
1. The way it's being held
Just look at the limp way the hand model (?) is holding a phone which is presumably larger and, therefore, heavier than the iPhone 4 (137g). Gripping it that loosely may aid antenna reception, but little else. It'll flop out of such a flimsy grasp quicker than you can say hard wooden floor and Snapdragon chipset jigsaw. We've seen the hopes of millions of England football fans rest on sturdier foundations.
2. The thumb
C'mon, if that thumb is in the right position, clearly the hand model has had a debilitating meat slicer accident, and the paramedics mistakenly reattached a party chippolata instead. Its incorrect placement and poor shading doesn't just scream Photoshop, it hires a Cherokee Piper single prop aircraft and pulls along a banner with "Photo" and "Shop" written 10 feet high. And we're not convinced by the little finger either.

The company, which sells chips for wireless broadband products, isn't profitable, but it significantly reduced its losses last year thanks to the inclusion of its products in HTC Corp.'s (HTCXF, 2498.TW) Evo 4G smartphone.
If anybody can do it, segue away from the core, single-screen Android ethos as seen through Google's eyes, and deliver something sufficiently customized and polished to be appealing both on paper and in practice, it's probably HTC.
