MANILA, Philippines -- I was given a choice for a review assignjment -- either a smartphone that I haven’t seen yet or another I am familiar with. I didn’t know what to choose at first, but there was one thing I was certain with; I’m familiar with Nokia. So to cut the debate, I went for the Nokia. And I got the new Nokia X7.
The Nokia X7 is appealing, in name and looks. Its smooth and curvy edges are inviting. The X7 sports identical top and bottom, making it quite difficult to identify which is which at first glance.
The angled corners look like speakers. They’re not, but the bottom part is. It even has this vast AMOLED screen, which I like the most because it transforms neatly with the phone’s metallic, or should I say robotic, design.
The X7 also has a home button that takes you straight back to the home menu. Removing and inserting the SIM card and micro SD card is a bit hard to manage, however. You still need to remove this tiny thing

Of speakers a few weeks ago, you just knew that it was only a matter of time until Eldar Murtazin got his hands on the device for a preview. Last time he did this he burned the then unannounced Nokia N8 to the ground . He's coy with any details but the "I do not like this device" machine translation is pretty telling as is that AT&T logo.
