The new phones – the Samsung Focus S, HTC Titan and Samsung Focus Flash – will all operate on AT&T’s HSPA+ network. The company has promised at least one phone later this year to run on its upcoming LTE network.
The Focus S is a follow-up to the original Samsung Focus, featuring a 4.3-inch display, large 1.4GHz processor and is just one-third of an inch thick. You get a 1.3MP front-facing camera and 8MP rear-facing.
The HTC Titan will sport the largest screen in the AT&T smartphone portfolio, coming in at a whopping 4.7 inches. It runs on a 1.5GHz processor and has an 8MP camera with dual LED flash. The carrier says it’s great for watching video or playing games.
The Samsung Focus Flash is a less-expensive smartphone, but still packs a punch with a 1.4GHz processor. It has a 5MP camera plus a front-facing lens. The screen size is 3.7 inches.
“Our customers love Windows Phones which is why we’ve sold more of them than anyone else," said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president, Devices, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets. “We’re taking our leadership to a whole new level by getting the Mango update to all existing customers and rolling out awesome new Windows Phones."
