How can I use the GPS function on the Sony Ericsson C903?

I bought a new sony ericsson c903 recently, and I saw that there was a GPS function. The thing is, how do I use it? I used status checker and everything, but I don't have the internet cause I'm on prepaid. So does that mean I can't use it at all?
Without the internet, the GPS in the C903 will only show you your satellite coordinates. The phone doesn`t have maps in it like a GPS that you would purchase for your car.
