i don't talk much on the phone, I'm 19 and my parents are about to drop me from their cell plan so i need to get my own. i don't text a ton but i do need a plan that has like a 1500 text plan. i live in columbus ohio if that matters, all-tel doesn't work.
I would stay with Verizon as well, but first pick your free cell phone from the link below and then check out available plans. Most plans start at $39 a month with top three carriers(Verizon-450 minutes, At&T-450 minutes, T-Mobile-300 minutes), Sprint

Getting out of your cell phone contract
31.12.69
A legitimate excuse for breaking a cell phone contract.
However, USell.com ( www.usell.com ), a site that enables consumers to sell their gadgets for cash or trade-in value, offered these suggestions for getting out of a cell phone contract:
* TALK YOUR WAY OUT. "It is possible, though difficult, to talk your way out of your contract," wrote Doug Feirstein, USell.com's co-founder and CEO. "Your case will be helped immensely by having a legitimate complaint about the service (for example, living outside of the coverage area) or your device.
"Go into the conversation with a detailed description of the carrier and plan you'd like to switch to, and why your current carrier and plan do not meet your needs."
* TRADE YOUR WAY OUT. "All carriers offer an option to transfer service to someone else," wrote Feirstein, "and this is likely your best option for getting out of your contract. For a relatively low fee (typically $20-25), people looking to get out of their cell phone plan can effectively 'swap' it with people looking to get in (to avoid activation fees and a full 2-year contract).

Chances are you're wasting lots of money on wireless phone service because you chose the wrong plan.
The problem likely will become more widespread with the introduction of unlimited calling plans, which are appropriate for very few customers, according to Validas, a wireless-bill analysis firm.
In a study of 10,000 wireless bills, Validas found 80 percent of wireless customers pay too much because they're on the wrong plan, and unlimited plans are appropriate for just 7 percent of customers. This echoes other studies that show
customers waste money by purchasing too many minutes that go unused each month.
Fortunately, you can right-size your wireless spending. Here's how:
Analyze your bill. Two of the best Web sites for analyzing your cell bill are MyValidas.com by Validas and BillShrink.com. It's worthwhile to use both.
Figuring out on your own which plan is right for you can be daunting, especially when taking into account free mobile-to-mobile minutes, nights and weekend calling times, texting, and free calls to a few favorite numbers that many plans
now allow. And sometimes your own bill doesn't give you enough information.
